Members chapelstone Posted October 24, 2012 Members Report Posted October 24, 2012 I just got a Barry Kings angled basket stamp. Do you use it at an angle like the others or do you use it in a straight line. Anyone who can suggest stamping pattern would be appreciated. Quote C. Chief31794 Posted October 24, 2012 Report Posted October 24, 2012 I have several basket weave stamps and two of them are angled. I've not seen anything official on them but I always use them in a straight line, the angle offsets the basket weave making it appear as if it was done on an angle. Some others may have other ideas, I've never tried using them on an angled line. Chief Quote "Life's too short to carry ugly leather"
Members chapelstone Posted October 24, 2012 Author Members Report Posted October 24, 2012 Thanks, that made sense to me. I couldn't figure out how to use it the same way as I used the straight ones. Quote C. Norman McGlohon Chapel Stone, LLC Custom Leather Works
dirtclod Posted October 24, 2012 Report Posted October 24, 2012 i used to use a angle BW stamp all the time. It's no different than running a straight one mark you guide line on a angle and do just you would with a straight stamp. Quote I'm old enough to know that i don't know everything.
