Members Suemi Posted November 1, 2012 Members Report Posted November 1, 2012 Hello all. I recently saw a set up with a hand screw on the foot for ease of changing. Are these custom or readily available? I have done some searches but found nothing. Looking for hand screws for a singer 31-15 and a consew 255. With only two machines I tend to change the feet a lot and or missplace my screwdriver. Thanks, Rich Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted November 1, 2012 Moderator Report Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) Those are the same thumbscrews that are used to secure edge guides. Every sewing machine dealer in the World sells them. I'm not sure, but think they are 5x40 pitch, or close to it. Edited November 1, 2012 by Wizcrafts Quote
Members Suemi Posted November 1, 2012 Author Members Report Posted November 1, 2012 I guess I should thank you twice wiz. For this info and for the servo from Bob. I "feel" like a pro now, compaired to sewing on that clutch. I think it's a great way to start tho. Learn the clutch and get a servo. This will save so much money in the long run. Quote
