Members JohnBloch Posted November 18, 2012 Members Report Posted November 18, 2012 I made this piece for my Halloween costume, and it's what really got me started in the hobby. I just figured I would post it here. The lady at tandy kept trying to get me to buy a pattern but I knew better. =P Quote
IngleGunLeather Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 Not bad at all, especially if you are just getting into leather working. Quote
Members JohnBloch Posted November 18, 2012 Author Members Report Posted November 18, 2012 Yeah, I didn't put any shell holders on it. Someday I may get into SASS and want to have a specific size. Quote
IngleGunLeather Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 Be sure to check the rule books for whichever association you look into. I just joined the Cowboy Fast Draw Association and their rules are quite different from World Fast Draw. Not sure about SASS. Wasn't a local club, so I didn't even check out their rules and regs. You're off to a good start, keep going. Quote
Members Blane Posted November 20, 2012 Members Report Posted November 20, 2012 The patterns are not a bad investment, show you the basics and you can go from there. Quote
