Hi there

Can anybody help, i am after a service manual for the singer 29k53. Does anybody know where i may be able to get a copy. Or does anybody have the manual that they want too sell.

thanks for the link mikesmith648 but i have that one,i was after a service manual that gives all the set up tensions and settings so that i can start at the beginning to see if i can sort out my top thread looping problem as this manual also has some troubleshooting ideas for a service engineer.

http://parts.singerco.com/IPsvcManuals/ <- For the "Service Manuals" (found that these are much fewer, and some are user manuals).

I always keep a little bucket of scraps near my 29k to keep testing tension until I'm happy with the results. A picture might help, I guess?
