ChaChi Report post Posted February 14, 2013 My favorite so far. Black pancake with brown lizard (I think) overlay and pigskin lining. It's SO smooth and snaps right in. Gotta make a new gun belt now! Another I made to match my gun belt, Burgundy bridle leather with stamped overlay. This will be my EDC rig And one I made yesterday for my wife as her EDC. It's by no means perfect and has allowed me to adjust my template for future sub-compact rigs. She loved it as her Valentine's Day gift this morning My first 1911 prototype with a little DTOM flair. This has WAY too much cant for me and was made in haste from scrap. But it served it purpose. Kind of embarased to even show it.
thor447 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 Unique design for the belt on your pancake holsters. Very nicely done. If you dont mind me asking, which tool did you use to fill in the background above and below the DTOM logo on the last picture?
ChaChi Report post Posted February 15, 2013 Thanks Thor447. It's a tandy backgrounder set I got a few years back. I'll get the #s when I get home from the FD in the morning.

coiledup Report post Posted February 27, 2013 Those look great with the belts. My fav is the last one. I could see my 1911 in it.
shooter55 Report post Posted March 1, 2013 Everything looks extremely well made. What type of machine are you using for the stitching?
whiteeugene Report post Posted March 1, 2013 Nice design and great color combos does the pig skin ware well in a holster?
ChaChi Report post Posted March 2, 2013 These were stitched with a Boss and the pigskin seems to hold up well so far. I've got one a couple years old that does great. Took a little longer to break in and draw well from, but I still use it when carrying my Taurus .
eglideride Report post Posted March 18, 2013 Beautiful! Mind if I ask where you found the pattern(s) Thanks!
ChaChi Report post Posted March 20, 2013 Thanks for the compliments. It's wearing VERY WELL. And I drew up the patterns myself
Peter Darby Report post Posted March 20, 2013 I really like them. I am not a big fan of the the "show every indentation in the gun holsters" So I really like your holsters and the leatherwork looks top notch. I was impressed with the belts and your burnishing.
