Members Zooker Posted March 3, 2013 Members Report Posted March 3, 2013 So, I am doing my first real project and am using vinegaroon. My question is, do I cement and sew my pieces together first or should I color and stabilize them first? I am uncertain if the vinegar will have a negative impact on the contact cement. Thanks, Ken Quote
Members Zooker Posted March 5, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 5, 2013 Well, I decided to color first and cement after. here is a peek at my first project after coloring (and neutralizing) with the vinegaroon. Almost all the techniques used were learned from reading this forum, so I thank everyone who shares their knowledge with us beginners. Hopefully, I will be posting some finished pics in the show-off section soon. Free time is hard to come by and I have about a hundred inches of hand stitching to do (never done that neither) so I think it might be a while. Quote

Members David8386 Posted March 5, 2013 Members Report Posted March 5, 2013 Go to the "how do I do that section" and it is the 2nd or 3rd pinned post from the top. David Quote
