Members TanNerD Posted March 9, 2013 Members Report Posted March 9, 2013 Pretty new to leather crafting, but I really enjoy it thus far. Here is the first face mask I made for when I am out on my Harley. I learned I am gonna need to make relief cuts in order to bring it in more. I still have to attach the straps for my head, when that is in place I will update with new pics. It looks much better when it's being held against my face, versus resting on my face. Rough template of my face made with paper Made a second template of where my eyes rest, then cutout the eyes Shaped the jaw line Here it is against my face Cutout the mouth and nose Put it on leather, cut it out, added a few more holes and shaped it to my face Any feedback is welcome! Members Alvetjarn Posted March 9, 2013 Members Report Posted March 9, 2013 Nicelly done, might do some more work on the jaw part and some dyeing to make it more "worn" What kind of helmet you have to it ? In the original mask there are also pins over his mouth but that might be unconfortable :D Quote
