Members dktne Posted March 10, 2013 Members Report Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) I have a claymore. I want a better sheath. The one I have now is not at all comfortable, and tends to be unstable at times and swingy, all around myself, when I move. I'd like a sheath that does not attach to my clothing, but that wraps around my waist. A little flexibility is desired, but I want this to be securely attached, so that it does not flail about. The blade is three feet long. Thank you for considering to help me! Edited March 10, 2013 by dktne
Members Destrier Posted March 10, 2013 Members Report Posted March 10, 2013 Hey dktne, welcome to the forum. I'm curious, is it a whole new scabbard you're looking for or a different suspension system? If I can't help you myself, I know a few excellent custom scabbard makers that I'm sure could get you what you need. Members dktne Posted March 11, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 11, 2013 An entirely new scabbord, and suspension system, I guess. The one that I have now is sort of worn. Ahaha, "suspension system." The strap, it is!
Members Destrier Posted March 13, 2013 Members Report Posted March 13, 2013 At the moment I'm a little swamped with other projects, however I know someone that does really good work, Crusader Monk - this is his web site http://www.crusadermonk.com/ http://destrierleather.com http://www.facebook.com/DestrierLeather http://www.etsy.com/shop/destrierleather
