srtboise Report post Posted March 15, 2013 hi all, while researching what i did wrong (and right) on my first project (http://leatherworker...showtopic=46652) i found this forum and, thanks to all you great people, have learned quite a bit. i wanted to make something small for my next project and decided to make a belt carrier for my leatherman and 1911 magazine. i used a chisel punch for the holes and some linen thread i had laying around that i use for bowstrings. the thread is a bit thick for this application but it is what i had. after making this i realized i need one for just my leatherman to replace the crappy carrier that came with it that never stays put and catches on everything. i have been wearing this every day for almost a month now and am very pleased with it. thanks for looking. i welcome any comments or criticism. steve
Murray Report post Posted March 15, 2013 Looks good to me. So the string is a little bit heavy? The way I see it, if you can shoot an arrow with it, you can secure your leatherman with it. I like the style and shape. What color is that? Nice work.
