Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted March 16, 2013 Contributing Member Report Posted March 16, 2013 It's been a long while since I've posted any work, so here's a sheath that was ordered for a rather peculiar knife. First, the knife: Blade is 9.5" And then the sheath...for this knife, I chose Charon. Still needs to be sewn, but I'm waiting for all the welts to dry. ETA: here's the finished product. So, what do y'all think? Quote Mike DeLoach Esse Quam Videri (Be rather than Seem) "Don't learn the tricks of the trade.....Learn the trade." "Teach what you know......Learn what you don't." Members Destrier Posted March 16, 2013 Members Report Posted March 16, 2013 That is a very peculiar knife. I like the design - did you pick Charon or did the client ask for it? Quote http://destrierleather.com http://www.facebook.com/DestrierLeather http://www.etsy.com/shop/destrierleather
Chief31794 Posted March 16, 2013 Report Posted March 16, 2013 Looks Great. I agree, very unusual knife. Nice job. Chief Quote "Life's too short to carry ugly leather"

Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted March 17, 2013 Author Contributing Member Report Posted March 17, 2013 The owner is somewhat eclectic...and he likes unusual things. When he saw the knife, he got it....then called me. The instructions were " make a nice sheath".
