Members bissetdesign Posted March 28, 2013 Members Report Posted March 28, 2013 Big smug grin time! Just been asked to make two identical satchels for a pair of twins! How cool... Good work fella! You'll be the next next kitchen satchel company like the girl on the google chrome ad...lol! Nice going Adam You should try the tiger thread, I think there has been a few threads about it on here, I bought some recently from Ian Atkinson at Leodis in shorter lengths, a little bit more expensive but then I don't have the huge reels from Abbey sitting around. Members lightningad Posted March 28, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 28, 2013 you read my mind Paul - i was intending to do just as you suggest and get some shorter reels from Ian. How have you found it to work with? I think the google ad failed a little - my friend mentioned it when she placed the order for the satchels - said mine reminded her of the imitation leather satchels she'd seen on googles ad !! I think it was the gaudy colours made her think they were plastic. Quote "You is what you am, a cow don't make ham!" Frank Zappa - Musical Visionary Barking Rooster Leather Goods Pinterest Page

How have you found it to work with? Good, I've used it in the past on the huge reels but space is becoming a problem in my workshop so got some shorter lengths in instead, mine came in snapbags off ian, no reels, just measured off & kinda hand folded but ok to work with, I don't need huge lengths of the stuff so just cut off what I need & back in the bag to keep it clean....doh! Forgot about that satchel where I'm going to need big lengths lol! Quote Paul My website - Bisset Design Join us on Facebook
