Members Buckinger Posted April 4, 2013 Members Report Posted April 4, 2013 My first post - this is an amazing site. I am looking to buy my first sewing machine and a guy locally (Dallas) is selling a new Mitzi MU-360 with servo motor for $1150 including tax. He says it is an excellent machine made by Mitsubishi, but there seems to be so little info about it online. I am reluctant to buy a used machine, but I also am on a budget. I intend to use it mainly for wallets and coin purses. Has anyone had any experience with this Mitzi? Thanks, James Quote
Members mikesmith648 Posted April 4, 2013 Members Report Posted April 4, 2013 Try it before you buy it....take pieces of what you want to sew and see if it will in fact work for what you want to do Quote
Members Anne Bonnys Locker Posted April 6, 2013 Members Report Posted April 6, 2013 I have my doubts about it being a true Mitsubishi. It is probably a Chinese built clone of a Mitsubishi. Quote
Members Buckinger Posted May 13, 2013 Author Members Report Posted May 13, 2013 I ended up getting a Highlead 0618. Having a lot of fun with it! Quote
Members Anne Bonnys Locker Posted May 14, 2013 Members Report Posted May 14, 2013 Good machine! Watch out for any movement in the needle bar. Adjustment is a simple matter of removing the faceplate and adjusting the piss poor little bracket that holds it in place. Quote
