I recently made a knife sheath and a custom tomahawk for an American Indian friend and that earned me enough to get some more leather working tools.

I made a 1911 holster to try using some different techniques and a chance to play with my new toys, I mean use my new tools.

I bought the belt in the pics.

I was going to dye to holster brown but decided to just dye the inside brown and do the outside in black to see how it'd look. I think it came out pretty well.
