Leather Jacket Alteration - What Can Be Done, What Can't?

I'm planning on getting a Vanson motorcycle riding jacket, and having it heavily customized. I would commission the design, but before I do that I would like your expert input on what can and can't be done. I have no experience in this kind of work, and I found this forum: hopefully you can help me with what can be done on an existing jacket.

I would like full-back embossing with my own custom design, and possibly additional pattern embossing on sleeves and chest. Color scheme would be entirely embossed, or shades of grey.

Is this something that is doable and feasible? Or would you recommend some other approach based on the rough ideas below?
