Finishing A Leather Braid Wrapped Handle

Howdy all. So, a friend of mine has a challenge for me. He would like a hammer handle wrapped in leather, Ok, so far, no problem. I can do the wrap, I can braid all if the leather all teh way down...but now what? I really dont wnat to have this big ugly knot of leather laces all knotted together. Are there any tutorials on how to finish off a braid and make it look nice? Thanks!

Look in the braiding section. There's a sticky there on how to do a Turks head. That's what ya want to use to cover the end of your work
