Members Sunnyside Scott Posted June 15, 2013 Members Report Posted June 15, 2013 Hey guys, I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself, I have been sewing for almost two years building gear out of Cordura and nylon webbing. Since I live about three hours away from any industrial sewing machine mechanic I have to search the web for information, and more than a few times I have landed here so I thought I should become a member. From the posts I have read this looks like a really nice group of people. The other forums I frequent are Snipers hide and DIY tactical. Scott Quote

Members Sunnyside Scott Posted June 16, 2013 Author Members Report Posted June 16, 2013 Looks like lots of active members here in Washington, I'm located in Sunnyside, the south central part of the state, which is about 200 miles from Spokane, Seattle and Portland. I keep my eye on Craigslist for all three cities and am always looking for a good deal on a machine. I do need to start getting rid of some to make room for newer ones, most are just standard walking foot machines, a bartacker, a cylinder arm, and a 20" long arm. I don't have any heavy leather workhorse machines because up to this point I only do tarp work and build tactical gear. Scott Quote

Members mailleandmorechainworks Posted February 20, 2015 Members Report Posted February 20, 2015 Just joined this forum today and am in Spokane. Was looking for the right section on the forums to inquire about getting a group of like minded leatherworkers together once a month or so to do what we do and share experiences/tips/info, etc. I frequent the Tandy store in Spokane and beyond the monthly first Saturday free class taught by Stan I'm not sure of any other get togethers.. anybody in the area interested? ~ Jody Quote

Members Bonnie Posted May 31, 2015 Members Report Posted May 31, 2015 Waving a big hello to all the Washington people from near Port Townsend, WA. As you can tell, I'm into my horses and the gear I use with them. Also get drug into other projects by my over active brain. Oh my! During my time between marriages, I supported myself and my young son by making hand tooled with names "cowboy" belts. My leather collection of tack keeps me busy just keeping it clean. ha ha ha Quote
