Members rgerbitz Posted September 8, 2008 Members Report Posted September 8, 2008 (edited) Hello everyone, I don't do a whole lot with leather I mostly mess around with braiding. My nephew asked me if I could make him a holster for this replica gun for him. I'm not sure if I am capable but I said I would try. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to go about making or finding a pattern for this gun and what weight leather should be used? Thank you for your time Rob Edited September 8, 2008 by rgerbitz Quote http://gerbitzquarterhorses.com/
Contributing Member rdb Posted September 9, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted September 9, 2008 Just googling around, there's quite a few samples of holsters for matchlock, and flintlock pistols. I seem to remember a tandy type pattern pack for frontiersmen that had something like that, but I can't find it anywhere (must just be oldtimers disease) I did find this holster for sale, and it seemed very easy to capture. Plus, this is a site I haven't visited before, but I liked it. http://possibleshop.com/pistol-holster.htm Quote Web page Facebook
