Members Mlitton Posted July 11, 2013 Members Report Posted July 11, 2013 I was trying for a possibles style bag but slightly larger to fit my daily stuff. This was my first go at leather working and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Definitely learned some lessons for next time! Quote
Members H factor Posted July 11, 2013 Members Report Posted July 11, 2013 Great start! Making any bag isn't an easy start right out of the gate, so my hat's off to you! Quote
Members WScott Posted July 16, 2013 Members Report Posted July 16, 2013 I agree, greet job jumping into the deep end and making a bag. Most start with belts and coasters and such so good for you. Do lots of reading on here and you will find a ton if info and inspiration Cheers! Scott Quote
Members Cogs Posted July 17, 2013 Members Report Posted July 17, 2013 Love it! My kind of bag. Has the look of a practical bag that could have been hand made by an old mountain man way back in the 1800's. No metal, nothing 'machine made', and nothing 'current day' about it. A classic style that wears well in today's world. Love the color. You said you were "trying for a possibles style bag" and I say "you nailed it". Nice job. Bill Quote
Members Mlitton Posted July 17, 2013 Author Members Report Posted July 17, 2013 Thanks for all the kind words guys! I've been itching to learn the craft and finally just dove in......now I have the bug. There's a ton of talented folks on here to learn from so that will be a huge help. I'm thinking about trying a quiver for my next big project. Quote
