SusieV Report post Posted July 30, 2013 Hi I am new to leather working. I have a Tandy Craftool hand press for setting Crystal Rivets and metal spots. I am having trouble keeping a straight line. Tree Reaper Report post Posted July 30, 2013 The one thing I can suggest is to take your measurement from the outside of the die. The black circle being the die and the black dot being the rivet. Put the die on scrap material, mark two scribe lines on the material at the edge of the die. One line on the front or back of the die, the other along one side. Set your rivet and measure from the edge of the rivet to the two lines and use this measurement to set all the rivets. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
