Members stef73433 Posted August 2, 2013 Members Report Posted August 2, 2013 I did that to my swells. Can I use a deglazer or some product to tone down that shiney plastic look? Quote
mlapaglia Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Yes, Lightly wipe it with rubbing alcohol. I use the little pads like in the doctors office. It will take off some of the resoline. You might want to put a layer of Leather Balm w/ Atom Wax after you wipe it down. Id also try a little neetsfoot oil before the leather balm. The alcohol whill actually take off the resoline so you can get back to dyed leather if you want to. A light rub should give it a matte look. Try it on a sample piece of leather first. Michael Quote
