electrathon Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 Is there someone who can take this ball and pattern it out? I would like it to be computer generated so it is exactly symmetrical. Also, if scaling to bigger or smaller is not easy I need a short explanation. I want to cover pre-existing balls for the core and do not know what to buy yet. Aaron Quote
Members cem Posted August 8, 2013 Members Report Posted August 8, 2013 I can't remember exactly but I think Paul Cunningham (leatherhead sports) could have some sort of IP thing going on with the lemonball so I would be carefull if you want to sell them. He was also a member here at one time. If you don't want to pull old baseballs apart cores can be found here http://www.widgetco.com/cork-balls they are wrapped in string and dipped in a latex adhesive mix. There are some videos on Youtube showing the process mostly for cricket balls but it's the same principle for baseballs. Quote
electrathon Posted August 8, 2013 Author Report Posted August 8, 2013 I have no plans to sell them, just wanted to make a couple. I was leaning on making the ball over a soft core, like a sponge ball. Quote
