Hello All,

Wondering where you guys have gone to have your logos made to put on your makers stamp. I have an idea of what I want, but I don't know if I should try and come up with a logo first or if i should send the idea to someone to have them make one for me. What did you fellas do to get your logos made?

Hi Reimer, i designed my logo years ago when i wanted to create a t-shirt logo for an imaginary record label! The name and logo stuck, nd when i started making leather stuff i decided to dust it off and use it again.

I got the stamp made by http://lwleathers.com and am really happy with it!

Riemer, most stamp makers will fine tune your rough sketch, send a proof to you and you can tweek it til you're satisfied.

You'll have to ask the maker you have in mind if they offer this service.

Hi Adam

Are they UK based? (they don't mention their location on the site)

Cheers

no - they're in Hong Kong, but don't let that put you off! The service was really good. I sent the logo in Adobe Illustrator format (they'll be able to tell you the other formats they can work with) and the stamp was finished and posted in just a couple of days...it took longer to get through customs than the rest of the process put together.

Thanks all. I'll try and remember to show it off here when I get it done.
