raysouth Report post Posted August 19, 2013 I believe that if you were to go to the topic below this one, Tools of a Swiss Sattler, and asked Walter or Tor for information, you would receive an answer. They know the tools. God Bless. Ray
walter roth Report post Posted August 19, 2013 The Plough is from Paffrath .... http://www.paffrath-remscheid.de/ a German Toolmakers of the still producing today. or all hole punches, etc. The Part is below .... To find ( in German Langwhich ) - "Niet- & Ösenwerkzeuge". Safety deposit box available that are still. The knife is from Toolmaker with the ...."L in the oval". I'm not quite sure, but the Nae man was ....."Langenhahn" .....and came from Suhl in Thuringia, ex DDR - East Germany. A toolmaker who worked since ca. 1910, and made very fine quality. So, the Knife is not the original of the Plough. greeting Walter

I have the same tool with the original knife; which is`nt anything special by the way. Thin steel and light wood. Nevertheless, it cuts alright. My tool also came with an wedge for cutting round pieces. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=45729&hl=%2Bnew+%2Bgerman+%2Bplough+%2Bgauge here is some pictures from the topic about it.
