Members Idahocamochick Posted August 19, 2013 Members Report Posted August 19, 2013 Hello all. I have been reading a lot of information about different machines and servo motors and have learned a lot from here. I recently purchased a Sewquiet 5000 servo motor and would like to upgrade to a machine with reverse. Right now I have a Consew 225, but with the work I do I need reverse. I have done a lot of research on industrial sewing machines, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I do not usually work with leather, mostly nylon webbing, cordura fabric and even flannel, I make rag quilts usually 6-12 layers of flannel, holsters, and concealed carry purses. I am looking for a machine with a high lift, that can handle multiple layers of fabric, thick nylon webbing and durable cordura fabric. Also the ability to sew from medium to heavy weight fabric. I was wondering about the Juki DNU 1541S and the Consew 255 machines, which one would be better suited to the type of work I do? Which is the better made machine? Is there any other machines that might work better than these two? I greatly appreciate any help I can get, thank you. Quote
