Members cgleathercraft Posted September 16, 2013 Members Report Posted September 16, 2013 Well I figured I might as well go ahead and introduce myself since I spend a significant amount of my downtime here. I began leather working about 2 1/2 years ago and love it! I recently moved from Eastern Iowa to Northwest Missouri so I haven't been hitting the workbench near as much as I would like. Currently 90% the work I do is for family as requests or gifts. I would like to expand this into a e-commerce site and start hitting up craft fairs. A large undertaking I know but I'm looking forward to it. I have repaired a couple of saddles that took way longer than I liked. I will most likely not take up that sort of work again till I gain a little more experience. I have been, and will continue, looking for all around leather work techniques and ideas.
