RoyalLeatherDesigns Report post Posted September 26, 2013 I can make holsters, belts, pouches, and just about anything small that comes to my imagination but I want to learn the art of saddle making. We had a saddle shop here in Salinas years back but it closed down. If it was still open I would have gone and ask to see if I can volunteer my time to learn the trade. Are there any saddle making schools in California are these even worth it. Is there anybody out there in my are that wouldn't mind having me around as a volunteer to learn the trade, or am I asking something really stupid. I think that some people would charge to show you what took them years to learn and I think that is perfectly right but I am not rich just looking for someone that could benefit from my help and me as well.
