That title should say "I've been tooling for A week"! :)

I got my basic Tandy tooling kit and some extra scrap leather about a week ago and just started tooling, which I quickly found out I love. Today I'll be picking up some stitching essentials and start learning that step.

These forums have been imperitive to my ability to learn new things and ask questions and I just wanted to show everyone the most recent peice of tooled scrap that I've done, also trying out the sunburst dying effect with some brushed and paper towel.

Thanks to everyone for the wealth of knowledge available here!

Awesome job! Very inspiring! I am an artist myself- though not professional- and have enjoyed great success with pencil medium. I haven't drawn much in the last couple years & dont claim to be as good as you but your work may have given me the kick in the seat I need to work more with carving aspect. Thanks for sharing!!
