Members artycpt Posted October 16, 2013 Members Report Posted October 16, 2013 Starting working on creating tooled representations of the 7 chakras for my wife to hang on the wall of her office. I have three tooled so far and decided I would tool them all before starting to dye them. (my mind is always subject to change on short notice though...) Each chakra is represented by a specific color so I will use those colors for the dying of each. Will try to update as I complete more. and one more Quote http://www.facebook....nakebiteLeather http://www.etsy.com/shop/snakebiteleather

Members iknowshaun Posted December 14, 2013 Members Report Posted December 14, 2013 I really like these designs, the stamping and bevelling is real clever. I like the colours but personally would have put an antique paste on all of them to bring out the designs a little bit more but that's just what I prefer. Great idea. Cheers Shaun Quote
Members artycpt Posted December 16, 2013 Author Members Report Posted December 16, 2013 Thanks Shaun, and I agree with you. The pictures don't show it very well but I did antique the orange and red ones. The yellow was harder as I wanted to keep the overall yellow and not change it with too much of a brown antiqued tone. I am going to try a light wash over it to see if that will help. There are some variances in the yellow as I did a base dye then resisted some areas then another dye but the pictures don't show it.
