craftsman827 Report post Posted October 22, 2013 My friends daughter spilled water on her new car's leather seat. It made the spot very stiff. What can she use to soften the leather back the way it was ?
johnv474 Report post Posted November 4, 2013 Just about any leather treatment will help. Lexol is a popular brand sold at auto parts stores. An alterrnative is to apply a small amount of oil to the area, then a small amount to the rest of the seat. About any animal- or plant-based oil will help, such as olive oil. Dont apply too much, so it absorbs fully. After it has soaked in, wipe off any residue on the surface so it doesnt get on clothes.

SteelcityK9Cop Report post Posted November 17, 2013 If that does not work, try "Fat Elephant" They use this stuff to recondition car-leather on museum pieces. It's expensive but i have seen miracles performed with this stuff. http://www.swissvax.us/product/SE1042592.html
