Very nice- I actually like the somewhat plain- you have the nice border & the decorated tip with brand, which shows well. I don't know much about lacing but sure looks good to me. I would love to make a pair of taps as it can get quite brushy around here; I've sure gotten my stirrup hung more than once! As for coloring, alot of good use & neatsfoot oil...lol. Really a nice job.
