Moderator Wizcrafts Posted November 20, 2013 Moderator Report Posted November 20, 2013 I seem to remember something Bob Kovar told me about the Cowboy 227R machines having a wick inside the openable base. Slide the lever latch open in the base and tilt the head back. See if there is an oil wick and container in there. Members SteelcityK9Cop Posted November 20, 2013 Members Report Posted November 20, 2013 Dirtclod and Wiz... I guess that's the big sewing machine noob question... How often do you need to do the "red dot" oiling vs. the "full oil" where you take all of the plating off of the machine and oil all of the internal pivot points? Quote
dirtclod Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 (edited) When i do one i do them all. On all my machines. Edited November 20, 2013 by dirtclod Quote I'm old enough to know that i don't know everything.
