Hi, made this little pouch, moulded to take a 10 round factory strip of .223 centrefire ammo...

Approx 4.5mm leather all round.

That's a nice lookin pouch. I just made one similar with a wood block inside that I drilled hole in for 17 .22 bullets. I also made a fore grip six round ammo holder for my .22. I trap and having these is better than spilling half my shots on the ground when my hands are freezing

That's interesting, i'd never considered a block of wood for smaller calibres!

The problem is is that the wood could swell and shrink but hey I'm poor hillbilly and it works fine for holding my .22 shells I could probably put a picture up if you want to see it

You'd be surprised at how easily a bullet could get stuck because of the wood
