Where To Look For A Used Campbell Bosworth Lockstitch Machine

I have been tossing around the idea about trying to buy a used Campbell Bosworth Lockstitch machine. Im guessing a gently used machine doesn't come around all that often as I rarely see one being advertised. Is there somewhere you could recommend I look for one- have been watching used sewing machines for sale on this forum for a while with no luck

I currently have a cobra 3 and it works very well- but for some of the cases I make I would like to have a lockstitch machine to give me a stitch line that looks similar on both sides on the leather piece Im sewing.

I saw that on their web site but they didn't/ haven't had any machines listed- maybe I need to contact them by phone instead of just looking at their web site

They are good people to talk to on the phone. I thin they close down until after the first of the year right now, so don't be worried if you can't catch someone until end of next week or maybe even the week after.

You may find that quite a few of or member-dealers prefer to sell over the phone rather than over the Internet. Some of them are just used to doing things the old fashioned, proven way. I know at least two of our member dealers who prefer to talk to customers on the phone and use their websites mostly for information, rather than sales.
