Members joeyrsmith Posted January 4, 2014 Members Report Posted January 4, 2014 Hi guys, Quick question on this procedure. After looking at the manual, I am still a little baffled on the location points. Heres a pic of my bobbin/hook and a pic of the manual. I see where the felt wick is and is almost black with oil. Its the case part that is throwing me. Could someone help define the oil point. Thx JOey Quote
Members gottaknow Posted January 4, 2014 Members Report Posted January 4, 2014 From what you learned yesterday, you know that the bobbin basket remains stationary and the hook revolves around it. Put a drop of oil anywhere around where that bobbin basket sits in the hook body. The oil will migrate around the bobbin basket. You should do that each time you use the machine. When we run our 211's at high speed, we do it at each bobbin change. Regards, Eric Quote
