JustWakinUp Report post Posted September 30, 2008 My daughter requested a dream journal. She's been watching a movie called sharkboy and lava girl. There is a character in there named max that carries this dream journal. So i decided to make it for her. I did the binding of the paper and that was the really fun part. The leatherwork was pretty quick and painless.
TomSwede Report post Posted September 30, 2008 Very nice, simple yet elegant! So is that paper that you have folded and attached with lace or sumting. Hard to tell from the small pic. I like the wrap around lace..what did I say...simple yet elegant. Tom

I took 10 pieces of sketchbook paper sized 10"x7" and folded them in half. I punched holes 1 inch up from edge then 1.5 inch from the first hole. I used Sinew to run through the holes starting in the back. It's definitely no professional binding job by no means but should do the trick for my 5yr old.
