1st time I have ever made a knife and the handle . made out of an old saw blade and deer antler. I made the sheath and carved with the new barry king tools.

Outstanding! I hope it cuts well and gives you years of service. Really nice!

Very nice! I assume you used an old circular saw blade...what tools did you use to cut the blade to the correct shape?

Wow, very. nice!

Wondering if you covered the hardware on the inside of the sheath?

Thanks for the nice words. Right now it is very sharp. I used it to cut out the case I made for it.

The blade came from an old saw mill that a friend of mine knows. then I took a 4 inch grinder and cleaned

up the edges and then used a file to get the shape that I wanted. I started with 400 grit to 1200 grit

to polish it. And no I did not cover the hardware because I put a plug in it that should have given me

enough room to not scratch it.

I think you should send it to me so you can save the embarassment of having to use it. :cowboy: Very nice work there.

That is awesome. Do you have sizes on that or could you take some pics with a tape measure next to it so i could get an idea how big it is. I would love to give that a go. I have some old saw blades from a saw mill and I like to make things from scratch. Thanks.
