Members sfcdan Posted October 2, 2008 Members Report Posted October 2, 2008 Hello again, I've seen several holsters that use a type of plastic snap instead of a brass or nickel snap. It appears that the rest of the snap is metal, however the actual back piece is either made of plastic or has a plastic sleeve. This type is used where the metal from the snap touches any metal part of the weapon. Can any one tell me where to find this? Sincerely, Daniel Quote
Members mwtn Posted October 8, 2008 Members Report Posted October 8, 2008 I was looking at a Bianchi holster and it looks like the snap is normal but it has a cap on the back like this. http://www.itw-fastex.com/catalog/index.ph...p/12?m=no#specs You might check at parts stores and see if they have anything that will work. Leather Bum Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 (edited) Check the Mariner caps at DOT Fasteners Direct. I think they're just plastic caps that will work with the regular metal snaps. . . Is that like what you're looking for? L'Bum Edited October 21, 2008 by Leather Bum Quote
