sfcdan Report post Posted October 2, 2008 Hello again, I've seen several holsters that use a type of plastic snap instead of a brass or nickel snap. It appears that the rest of the snap is metal, however the actual back piece is either made of plastic or has a plastic sleeve. Leather Bum Report post Posted October 21, 2008 (edited) Check the Mariner caps at DOT Fasteners Direct. I think they're just plastic caps that will work with the regular metal snaps. . .
