Here is my first attempt at a knife sheath. Its a double sheath to take two Butterfly Knives as used in Wing Chun Kung Fu. It's hand sewn through five layers of veg tan leather (two welts). I used Fiebings Oil dyes and finished with Carnauba Cream and then Aussie wax. Edges were smoothed and burnished. The Chinese characters are an old, traditional font and translate to WIng Chun (one of my other passions).

Great job. How large are the knives? They look like maybe 12" blades. I'm just trying to get an idea of the size.

Thank you!

The blades are 13 inches long.

Beautiful work. Just stunning. I love the relief look of the characters.
