Members coop Posted March 11, 2014 Members Report Posted March 11, 2014 I have used antique dyes and been successful at creating nice vintage/antique looks. Anyone have any tips on how I can get the effects in this photo? Thanks for any help. Quote
Members DavidL Posted March 11, 2014 Members Report Posted March 11, 2014 the artist used a sponge and applied blue as a base, then green and finally black to add depth. Quote
Members JoeSnuffie Posted March 11, 2014 Members Report Posted March 11, 2014 Sponge is my guess as well but it almost looks like there might have been a white paint applied as well. Maybe it's just because of the dark colors used. Whatever they did, it's beautiful. Quote

Reduce some white Angelus acrylic and airbrush on then sponge the rest on. Quote
