When I have my 441 in reverse the lever falls down, and it will "hop" with each stitch. How do I tighten it up? I haven't even really tried to resolve this issue yet!

Take the plate off the back on the left hand side looking at the machine from the back. Turn the hand wheel till you see a screw, tighten it up just a little, the screw is hard to turn. That's what Ferdco told me several years ago and it has worked fine sense then.

I'm old enough to know that i don't know everything.

That solved the problem! Thanks!, I tighted it too tight at first and could barely move the lever, easy fix, thanks again
