Members rawhidebystretch Posted March 29, 2014 Members Report Posted March 29, 2014 Every time I get on ebay I see dozens of these chinese knockoff sewing machines made by robin industries. Has anyone had any experience with these? The reason I ask is because they offer a machine that is essentially a lightweight mackay stitcher and, although I would love to have one,my shop doesn't have enough need to justify spending that much on a full blown machine. I know that they are probably not the cream of the crop quality wise, but just thought I would see if anybody has taken a chance on one and would give me some insight. Thanks in advance. Moderator Wizcrafts Posted March 29, 2014 Moderator Report Posted March 29, 2014 Don't know from experience, but I have been looking at the boot stretcher they sell. It appears to be a family run business. Why don't you send them a message and see how they answer you. OTOH, you could search out a hand operated sole stitcher.
