First Project:

I want to use 3/4 oz for the outside and kid or pig inside. The inside will be glued. I want to wet form this after it is done without any stain/antique or sealer finish. Will the liner detach from the outside if it is soaked in water? If it will, describe a better way.

While writing this I suppose I could wet form it before stitching and then add the lining, but I want a tight fit, it won't have a strap to keep it in the case.

I would wet mold both the outside and the liner separately and then glue them together.

Alternatively you could wet mold the outside and do a french turned binding with the liner.

Like this knife sheath...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZKxHdNIiP4

EDIT: If you wet form the lining separately from the outside make sure to put the lining so the flesh side is facing outward or else it will come out backwards.

That was a really good video, this will work nicely.

Thanks Joe.
