retiredff Report post Posted April 23, 2014 First Project: I want to use 3/4 oz for the outside and kid or pig inside. The inside will be glued. I want to wet form this after it is done without any stain/antique or sealer finish. Will the liner detach from the outside if it is soaked in water? If it will, describe a better way. While writing this I suppose I could wet form it before stitching and then add the lining, but I want a tight fit, it won't have a strap to keep it in the case. Hi Im Joe Report post Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) I would wet mold both the outside and the liner separately and then glue them together. Alternatively you could wet mold the outside and do a french turned binding with the liner. Like this knife sheath...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZKxHdNIiP4 EDIT: If you wet form the lining separately from the outside make sure to put the lining so the flesh side is facing outward or else it will come out backwards.
