Sewing Machine For Leather Cases

Hello From Turkey,

I make leather phone, tablet and notebook cases. Till now I use hand stitch but because it takes so much time I want to buy a sewing machine. I need your support for to choose a machine that listed below :

Pfaff 1245

Pfaff 545

Singer 29K171 (I dont know this machine is a good idea or not.)

Please do not suggest machines except Juki, Pfaff, Brother, Singer, Zoje and Typical , because we can not find the others like Cobra, consew etc. in Turkey.

Also it will be great to see your needle suggestions.

p.s. I usually use 2-2,5 mm vegetable tanned leather.

Pfaff 1245 or 545 would be ok for leather cases. Most dealers can ship overseas to Turkey if you wanted to expand your search to companies in North-America.

Ron, First of all thanks for your answer. Would you please tell the differences between these two models (if it is not so complicated) ? Which one is more suitable for me if I would also like to sew belts?

It will be great if you can tell me the needle type for sewing cases.

Hello. The 1245 is the later version of the 545. We also ship overseas. Thanks, Steve
