Dwight Report post Posted May 20, 2014 Some folks only bevel on cased leather, . . . it saves them from re-sharpening so often. I'm not one of them, . . . as I have scratched up a couple of pieces that way. If I do it dry, . . . the scratches don't show, . . . or not as much. Sometimes I qualify for a Dr. Klutz award, . . . so I gotta be careful how I do, . . . what I do. And, personally, . . . I'd never groove anything cased, . . . for the same reason.
