Groovers And Bevelers

Can you use an edge beveler and groover on cased leather, or is it better to wait for the leather to dry after all stamping is completed? Thanks.

Some folks only bevel on cased leather, . . . it saves them from re-sharpening so often.

I'm not one of them, . . . as I have scratched up a couple of pieces that way. If I do it dry, . . . the scratches don't show, . . . or not as much.

Sometimes I qualify for a Dr. Klutz award, . . . so I gotta be careful how I do, . . . what I do.

And, personally, . . . I'd never groove anything cased, . . . for the same reason.
