Members Girl Posted May 21, 2014 Members Report Posted May 21, 2014 So...I made a wallet. Thanks to everyone who told me about chucking up my punch to the drill press, that worked great! Still need some practice, but this was a good enough first try. I'm just wondering...how do you cut down on the bulk? I would have loved to put in more layers, for cards, and what not, but then...it would have been five inches thick?! And...putting the fabric lining on...wasn't my first choice...but it worked ok. I was just wondering how do you do it? Just...thinner leather? I don't know? Maybe you can only do the thinner ones by machine then? Anyone...thoughts? Thanks!! Inside. Quote
electrathon Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 Yes, the bottom line is that thin leather makes thin wallets. Goat works awesome, fairly thin and very tough, but it still feels nice. Quote
