Members skychief12 Posted June 3, 2014 Members Report Posted June 3, 2014 Hi all, Getting ready to pull the trigger on retirement. I use the build black power rifles using techniques from the 1820 era. I have been out of that craft for several year now. I'm planning on building a 16 x 20 workshop and getting into leather craft. In hindsight maybe I should have spent less time at the gunsmith shop in the Ohio Historical Society's Ohio Village and more at the harness maker's shop before moving to Texas. Oh well we all have to take that first step. Quote

Members Studio-N Posted June 3, 2014 Members Report Posted June 3, 2014 I hope you've been warned that retirement is a lot of work I'm semi-retired but I keep very busy making custom stamps. I'm a little farther down the block in E. Dallas. Enjoy! Quote
Members skychief12 Posted June 3, 2014 Author Members Report Posted June 3, 2014 "retirement is a lot of work" I sure hope so. The idea of setting in the rocker and looking out the window, scares me. With CTaylorJr & Studio-N so close by maybe a bull session at Starbucks could be in the wind. Quote
Members shtoink Posted June 3, 2014 Members Report Posted June 3, 2014 Be prepared... This is less of a hobby and more of an addiction. Quote
