However I'll give you a tip that will make your tooling look a bit better: when you lay out your border cut your border line with your swivel knife and it will help keep everything inside where it needs to be when you use your border stamp. I didn't think about using the swivel knife to mark the border better and yes I should have rounded the bottom more, didn't think about it until I had started stamping, so I just left it. Rohn Report post Posted July 17, 2014 dbitting, Also I should tell you that I never cut the border with swivel knife towards the back of the holster where it folds around the barrel . I just scribe a straight line and follow that with the border tool. The reason being is that if it is cut it is liable to crack the leather where you bend it around the barrel of the gun.
