MonicaJacobson Report post Posted August 14, 2014 I've never made any of these, so my feedback is of little worth, but I think they both look nice. I can't see the edges well, and there might be some roughness there, but otherwise, they look great.

MikeG Report post Posted August 17, 2014 As always, any comments are based on a computer picture and not being able to hold the real item. That said . .. I wonder if you made the red outline a little more pronounced whether it might make the shield "pop" more. The white background makes it a little hard for my old eyes to see the total effect. Or perhaps trying an edge treatment? These shields are very nice - whoever receives them will be very happy to have them. Keep it up!

Hschogs15 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 They look great. They'll look really good once they get a little smoke on them! Is it a single piece of leather? What kind of paint did you use? Keep up the good work!
Vinny Report post Posted August 30, 2014 Thanks, yeah those were gifts that weren't being put in service. It is a single piece about a 1/4 inch. I use acrylic paint with a sheen finish..I want to try out angelus soon.
